Ian Venter has been involved with polymer conversion/production design since the start of his career in 1990. He obtained his National Higher Diploma in Polymer Technology from Pretoria Technicon (Tshwane University of Technology) in 1997.
He was formally the Technical Product manager of PVC HDPE and Weholite structured wall HDPE pipe, all forming part of the Petzetakis Africa (Pty) LTD / Marley product range.
He is the current SAPPMA Technical manager, and SAPPMA and IFPA technical committee member. His interests lies in assisting various industry stakeholders to meet and understand the many facets of Thermoplastic piping systems and the associated quality related.
Ian will share some of his experience, essential points, and information to consider when specifying and utilising structured wall pipes.
